100% to both @Dirtnasty and @TG. Early morning just didn’t hit me for whatever reason since kids are up quite early, so a little planning is needed but was pleasantly surprised she was very on board with it. Agree at end of day we are both usually exhausted. So after a good sleep we are both...
Just wanted to share a recent “technique” if you will for those of us in fairly long marriages or relationships, especially with young kids, though may work in other situations.
Just some backstory on me to see if it can relate. Married at 25 to an amazing wife who I would to this day do...
Haven’t posted nearly as much as I wish I had over the past months. Typical excuse but has truth to it. Crazy time of year with not just work, but also doing a lot of home renovations that I am at least comfortable doing myself (not the best but getting better over time), and believe it or not...
Those beef ribs look awesome!
Today was a long family day with church followed by a family reunion at a campground/park. Was great to see some people we don’t get a chance to see regularly.
Once I got home hit a pull day with deadlifts (trap bar), lat pull-down, chest supported rows on incline...
I haven’t lost too much but my hairline is definitely higher and have a small half ring at the crown showing a bit. For now no one notices if I keep it a bit longer. However, when it is noticeable time to shave it off! As others mentioned if that important then looking into plugs may be best...
LOL! I was thinking the same comment when I wrote that… just held off for some reason 😂. I’m sure blowback wouldn’t come from this great forum, as all can understand and take a joke.
Though being out in person in the real world, there is so much division and people that get offended at almost...
That’s a lot going on! We took it easy this spring as last year on top of my oldest son playing track and baseball, the triplets were playing soccer about 4 days a week as well as my 8yr old daughter (she also was doing cheerleading). Between practices and games I’m not sure how we made it work...
Slept in quite a bit compared to normal week days. Got up around 9am instead of 5-6am. Was able to work remotely at home through the morning/anfternoon attending a few conference calls.
Ate late lunch (sirloin tips seasoned with Montreal steak and a bit of A1; large bag of steamed broccoli)...
Great point. You also have a great deal at your work. I do prefer meal prepping my own when possible as I like to know exactly what is in what I eat. I’m positive what I make is much cleaner and a healthier option.
I suppose since I’ve been ramping up going into the office more regularly, I’m...
Work stepped up their breakfast game today. Breakfast quesadillas (guac/sour cream on side), scrambled eggs with hot sauce, potatoes, and 2 small sausages.
In some ways I feel I come in the office just at for the food as it’s just 3 bucks for any meal and 50 cents for unlimited drink refills (I...
Breakfast posted in earlier thread but enlarged here so @John can see it. 😎
Finished up chest, shoulders, triceps, and a little ab work. 1 down 5 to go. Love using the old school dry erase boards to write down lifts and what day is what. Also, been a bit since I busted out the Viking landmine...
Ha yeah was a bit of a smaller portion. Resulted in me eating a double lunch. Just have a pic of the turkey capri sandwich w/ watermelon, but also added a buffalo chicken wrap and cottage cheese.
Downed a whey shake on my way into the office before grabbing this from the cafeteria 👍. Scrambled eggs, spinach quiche, sausage links
Today is going to be a chest, shoulders, and triceps day. Hoping to get that in fairly soon after lunch.
Didn’t take a finished pic but this is a large thin flank steak that I season with Tony’s creole seasoning. Cooks in oven with a wireless meat probe at 350 to med-well. Then cut it in strips and use it for a few things.
great mixed in a large salad with a sugar free balsamic vinaigrette
also...
In the office today so get to take advantage of the cafeteria. Naked chicken Parmesan, tortellini, and Italian style green beans for lunch. Not bad for 3 bucks!
Didn’t see a more current diets and training thread so plopped it in here.
