HMG would be a poor alternative I think. HMG is much more expensive per dose. It’s usually 75mg, which is the whole vial. If you had a great deal on it, wouldn’t hurt.
If you’re trying to have a baby you will probably need to utilize both.
But just to keep the beans inflated HCG is much more cost effective.
Neuro always nails it.....cost prohibitive if you aren't trying to conceive b/c it helps to make the actual sperm (75iu x3 week w/ clomid as well), acts on the Sertoli cells where as HCG acts on the Leydig cells which gives some the added boost of extra Test productions.
My HCG Notes fwiw:
*250iu 3 to 4 times per week (max simulating effect is 250iu)
*250iu daily for fertility 12-16 weeks
*Stimulates testosterone production by Leydig cells
*Pituitary will still stop LH FSH will production
*Increase Estradiol significantly
*Increase prolactin levels (verify)
*Increased spermatogenesis 25% from Baseline
* Improves lipid levels
*Keeps SHBG at normal levels, may increase
* Keeps pregnenolone, progesterone, and DHEA levels consistent
*Prevents testicular atrophy
*Increase ejaculate volume and possibly sexual sensitivity
*HCG monotherapy is not recommended
