In the market for a new bar

I posted this on the fly in my log but I figured I would gather some input from the masses. I’ve had my original olympic barbell, second hand, for about 8 years now. It’s been a great bar but the knurling has basically smooth, the bearings are seizing and the collars are skipping threads and one has broken off. Needless to say I’m now in the market for a new bar.

I’m currently looking at the Rogue Ohio bar and as a cheaper option I’ve looked at the Titan Atlas bar. But I would like to hear about any options or suggestions out there. I have about a $350 max budget for this but I’d like to go lower and have some extra to save for a few more plates soon.

All purpose. I use a safety squat bar for regular squats but a regular barbell for everything else. I’m also considering getting a shorter bar for arm workouts like barbell curls

Rogue 2.0 is great for all purpose, the Rogue Chan as well. Eleiko has a great bar but it’s kind of over priced. I have personally used the Troy Hybrid Bar and thoroughly enjoy it, my buddy puts it to the test daily and it holds up well. Runs at about $209

Thanks for the input guys and gal 😉
I decided to get a Rogue 2.0 and bought the wife a Rogue Bella 2.0 as well. I was going to save money and or buy more weight but I’ve heard the wife make comments about using my bar in the past so I decided to get her one for herself.

and my wish list is a texas squat bar … a kabuki strength deadlift bar and a texas power bar… and a rogue ssb … and a swiss bar … and well, I should stop before I take up the whole page ya know… really Id be happy with the power bar and a decent deadlift bar 😉
