I remember when 2400 and 2500 were struggles EQUIPPED… makes me feel weak and I was elite/master in squat/DL and total in 2 weight classes… I should do a meet now with my busted elbow and fake hip… deadlift more than my bench and squat together
 
Yep his brother is progressing juat as good or better than he as well
 
Yeah them big super heavies do that mine goes a a little we struggle with t arches and light touches haha
 
I mean you should arch a little especially if tarketing pecs otherwise it will stain shoulders more but they got so much fat you can’t see thag little bit they do
 
About the only time i notice my back trying to arch is on incline chest racking and unracking. Explains why my shoulders look extra swole on upper strength nights.
 
Should take off shoulder strain, also should be benching with elbows in as tight as possible. Train your chest like their opposite muscle group- lats.

Stop doing db flies or benching with elbows out and watch those chesticles grow
 
Elite fts has a great video series on different lifts. “So you think you can bench” is excellent.
