New here but been around the forums for a few yrs. Im known as macedog24. Also a rep for PSL.
Im 51yrs old . On trt. Last 5-6yrs have been rough. Had multiple surgeries To both shoulders and biceps. Im also a workaholic , I give a 100% in everything i do. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and contributing to the community anyway i can.

Brother I feel ya- 70% full thickness rotator cuff tear and the long head of my biceps tendon ruptured and I have a uniceps now in one arm.

What’s crazy is the body builds new neuro-pathways and after a few years of nursing it I’m back to pretty good. No Surgery!!

Lots of “old” “injured” guys around here it seems. Good place to be! Glad to have another seasoned member.

Dam sorry to hear. But glad your doing well now…
Tore the supraspinatus 90% off the bone. And 6mm bicep tear .
The bad thing is the surgery hasnt addressed everything and i need another surgery… but i cant go out for another 4-5 months. So ive been dealing with it for over a year… happened at worrk so workers comp is extremely slow and will screw ya anyway they can unfortunately… i learned that the hard way…
Any way. I gotta do what i gotta do now. Suck it up and when it gets to that point where i cannot work any longer or the pain becomes unbearable than it will get fixed… i may go another route and go after the company since they keep delaying my recovery efforts and mri’s…
So now ill do my best to work around it … work swing shift 12hr days. So my schedule flips every two weeks. Im pretty much here every day… so i may be on at odd hours.

Booooo…that would have made me miserable.

Closest thing we had was a complete rotation every 4 weeks…basically 1st and 2nd level management and about 200 (plus) workers flipped every 4 weeks. First and second shift. I flipped for about 6 months until I was told I could stay on 2nd shift… they couldn’t force you first but could force you to second. I stayed on 2nd shift for right at 15 years. That left a spot on 1st shift for someone that wanted to stay.
