Hey brothers can someone tell me why i have a green dot with a 1 inside it next to my avatar at top right of page? I cant seem to find what it represents. I know the read circle with a number in it represents new posts.

Yep. Click your avatar once and will see the notifications and then can see your messages and click that to go to it.
