Thoughts on if this is over training or not

I wake up and go to the gym for an hour just lifting. Then I go to work doing concrete 8 or 12 hours then back to the gym to do a few more sets then cardio. Would that be over training? I feel great in the mornings and even after work I feel amazing and can hit the gym even harder

Overtraining is a tricky subject. You want to push yourself for growth, but too much will actually counter your gains. If you are getting gains and size it’s probably not over training. If you are stuck/losing gains or constantly injured. Then you are over training. Or boredom. Another sign u are not 100%.
 
Na I actually feel pretty amazing! I feel my muscle connection more then ever and I get this second wind after work like I can just keep going and I feel powerful in the gym lately. And my strength has gone up

I would say what you are doing is overkill and the extra stuff isn’t necessary. BUT! If you are still making gains and getting proper rest without hurting your self then keep it up, just becareful.
 
Gotta make sure your soft tissue is keeping up with your muscle growth. That’s usually where I get injured. I 45 also which doesn’t help with soft tissue keeping up. Also if your on NPP or Deca it can be hard to listen to your body because everything feels great even if your over training.
 
I do like 8 or 9 exercise for the Muscle group that day then I head to work and right now I work hard for half the day then the other half is relaxed cause the concrete has to dry so I sit a lot since it’s still cold. Then I really just go back after work to make sure I get some sort of cardio. And nothing hurts like I’m sore cause I’ve been having the best muscle mind connection ever lately and been pushing harder then I ever have before so it feels really good! Like there’s this animal inside of me that can just keep going lol I plan on switching gyms tho so I can go earlier and get everything done plus cardio so I don’t have to go after work.

Man that’s what I was thinking! I honestly wake up happy and ready to kick the days ass and my strength is way up. Like idk I have to stop and humble myself cause I feel unstoppable this last week! And my diet has been just nothing but clean foods lately and only water. Like I was already determined and motivated before but it’s just increased 100x more lately
 
That’s exactly the way a young man is supposed to feel.

It’s spring time… you’re yoked up and motivated… life is good my friend.
 
It honestly is! I’m a pretty happy person most the time anyways! I figure you get out of life what you put in! So I wake up and always try to do the right thing and work hard :muscle:t3:
 
May not feel like overtraining yet but remember training had a cumulative effect. You may feel amazing now but in time you’ll get injured, loose motivation etc. balance young Jedi! Slow and steady, this is not a sprint it’s a marathon
