    Take care of your health

A few days and still no better. It seems to be a muscular issue. And something driving my potassium levels low even with additional potassium. I can’t move when I wake up and it gradually gets better. Terrible and pretty scary waking up to each day.

    Take care of your health

The last few days I’ve experience a weakness of muscle, especially in my legs. So much so I can barely move and couldn’t get up from bed this morning. It improves through out the day but today it’s pretty bad and I’m at the hospital. They don’t know why I’m unable to move and I’m only in my late...

    Polycythemia solutions?

Only when I’m doing something like walking up a hill. Not noticeable when i’m not doing anything. Strange as 2-3 weeks ago i’m able to walk around up and down hills without having to breath harder. Now I notice I need to breath a bit harder, nothing crazy but considering i wasn’t feeling this...

    Polycythemia solutions?

I don’t know the steps, but i’m a fast walker. I have long legs at 6’3. If I had to guess, maybe around 1 mile. Maybe a bit less. But it’s pretty hilly. I don’t have asthma, i do have seasonal allergies, but the allergies have been much better than the spring where I was dying.

    Polycythemia solutions?

Yes, I actually walk a lot. And up and down hills. I walk at least 15min to my Italian class and 15min back up and down a hill. I also walk to get to other places within 15-20min and back daily. Cars are not convenient to park, especially since I got a large SUV. So I walk, and walk often. Oh...

    Polycythemia solutions?

I take 20 hours a week of classes from absolute beginner. It’s a pretty difficult language. And I speak a few languages. The grammar is really difficult, and I speak Chinese and korean lol. I will see if it’s possible to figure out a doctor that can help me with some English if possible. But...

    Polycythemia solutions?

I thought it’s what it is called when AAS gets your RBC high? Is this incorrect? I know polycythemia vera is a cancer in the bone marrow, but polycythemia is the term when too much rbc is produced? The opposite of polycythemia is anemia which many steroids treat for. Is this incorrect?

    Polycythemia solutions?

It’s not a joke for sure, but it’s induced by Aas. So I know the cause and the solution that works for most people is to donate blood. I don’t speak Italian very well and it’s really difficult to do simple things like blood work. I don’t live in major cities like Rome and Milan. I live in the...

    Polycythemia solutions?

Italy is pretty weird. You have to go to the GP first and they will write you a “script” to see a specialist. My insurance is not Italian, it refunds emergency trips if it qualifies or they will send a GP to me from the nearest one they work with. I live in the country side and sometimes it’s...

    Polycythemia solutions?
