Just read an “article” by Bobby Maximus about the concept of the 130 hour rule. The basic idea is that it takes 130 hours of consistent, uncomfortable training to effect real physiological change. The warm up set, @ 50%, a cardio session at an easy pace for 20 min does NOT count. The work it takes to change is uncomfortable, mentally and physically. The last set, at failure, when your mind says “fuck this” is when real growth occurs.

These guys and gals inspire me. Dedicated, focused, willing to suffer for growth… Mental and physical discomfort are essential to real change.
That is my motto now, before using AAS again, I want to devote 130 hours to uncomfortable training. I started Oct 1, 2018 with this idea in mind. What does 130 hours of uncomfortable training look and feel like again? Not easy fun shit, horrible stuff like heavy TGU’s and squat/sprint combos. Working until you fail, quiver, fall down and hurt. Vomit is a measure of hard work.
Its been awhile since I lived In that place. I miss the honesty of suffering. I miss growth. Its time again to evolve.
