Great write up and agree with virtually everything. The only point that I’m more on the fence about is early morning cardio. I am well aware to the theory that since fasted, more fat may be mobilized. Studies do certainly back this up, but overall I believe timing isn’t as important as fitting cardio (low intensity, long duration) into your individual schedule.


Very nit picky, but think it’s worth a point that I hope that no one believes they’ve completely wasted the ideal cardio window due to not doing fasted, morning cardio. Long term adherence and being consistent with regular cardio will give the best results in my view. This is not to say that if very disciplined and can always do the fasted, morning cardio will not be superior.
