I haven’t seen any on the board. As much as PHD hates it, he’s got me on a path to compete in men’s physique first and hopefully if I can continue to gain I’ll be able to compete in classic physique some day
I hate the board shorts but I respect it, I think you’re definitely on track to do well. I see no reason why you couldn’t grow into classic physique later on. I currently fit into the classic physique category but I eventually would like to grow into open, taking it slow and not rushing it though.
I’ll continue to grow my legs as much as they’ll grow. I’m not using the board shorts to cover up some bird legs like some of those guys. Shit my legs are gonna burst through some board shorts some day hahaha

Yeah when John Meadows has you working legs 3 days a week they don’t have much choice but to grow lol. Thanks for the motivation bro. Now if I could just get these calves to grow lol
Haha you and I both, they’ll grow a bit then stand still for what seems like forever. Admittedly though I could definitely and will definitely be hitting them much harder.
Man if you got some secrets I’m all ears. I did have sort of a “duh” moment yesterday though. We walk around carrying our weight and then some at times. It doesn’t make any sense to use your calves to push anything less. During my deadlifts the other day, near my last set I got a little light headed and set up slightly forward on my toes. That lift fired up my calves like nothing else I’ve ever experienced. Which was about 80% over my body weight. I might have just found the key to growth but I’ll have to put it to the test with rep ranges
@Ironside your gains have been awesome. I don’t hate men’s physique it’s just those pricy ass guys that act like girls lol. Ur deff not that. You will fit nicely in classic.
Hahaha I love training claves. The secret is fucking pain you have to really go past that burn and it’s fucking hard and stretching under weight. Dusty hanshaw is huge on this as well as Meadows. Our calves never really stretch they are always in a flexed position. Hold the stretch for 30 seconds or more after each set and to really get nasty hold the stretch for 10-15 seconds on each rep
