Protecting yourself and your personal info

PROTECTING YOURSELF AND YOUR PERSONAL INFO
Code:
I cannot stress enough, the importance of protecting yourself and your personal info. Whether you are just scrolling the boards, learning and asking questions or attempting to order a cycle. Do not believe for one second that LE does not monitor these boards.

YOU SHOULD NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFO IN OPEN FORUM!!

Trust me! You may think that giving out your city or first name is not a big deal. But there are teams of internet "cops" that build files on people to make busts. One piece of info today, with another piece tomorrow, soon they have enough cross reference material to find out who you are. How do you think suppliers get caught? This is why we have such strict rules on INFO COLLECTING!

To prove my point, I worked with a friend of mine to do an experiment. He is an old pro at this and thought he was being safe. I used small amounts of info that he had left out there on the boards and within a few minutes, I knew his address, parent's names, wife's name, kids name, home phone and even sent him a pic of his house. Needless to say, he was blown away by how he had allowed too much info to slip.

HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF:

1. Get a personal mailbox. NOT A PO BOX! and NEVER HAVE ANYTHING SENT TO YOUR HOME!! You can get a small personal mailbox at a mom and pop mail place for about $150 a year. You can add names to your account for them to sign for packages. Such as fake brothers and sisters names. With your address, someone can learn everything about you. even the vin number and registration on the vehicles the are registered to the address.

2. NEVER EVER GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO OUT IN OPEN FORUM!! Not your real name or any part of it. You have a screen name for a reason. Anonymity!

3. Get a secure email address. Gmail, yahoo, and AOL are not secure emails. Securenym is one example. Their servers are not in the US and are encrypted. It is $60 a year.

4. Think before you post. Cops are trained to pick up on little things that you may not notice.. If you are posting videos from youtube on here, MAKE A NEW ACCOUNT FOR YOUR ALTER EGO. Do not use the same channel that you have videos of your kids playing, your wife yelling their names and yours, in your front yard. If someone clicks on one video you uploaded, they have access to your channel, which you registered for and have included your name, email, etc. Not to mention, facial pics of you and the ones you love the most.

5. Do a source check on your sponsor/supplier. Do not send him your real name and address. He is not your friend. This is a business arrangement of an illegal transaction. PROTECT YOURSELF! You do not know if he clears out his inbox or saves your info. It would suck to get busted because a supplier gets popped and he was sloppy and kept all your info. Then the feds knock on your door because after they confiscated and searched all his possessions, they found your real name and phone number on a WU reciept where you sent him money for that summer cutter cycle.

6. Use common sense! Use your brain for something other than a cycle planner!

I know a lot of people think, "He is telling me to spend $210 a year on an email and a mailbox, THAT'S HALF ANOTHER CYCLE!" NO! THAT IS ONE MONTH'S COMMISARY IN PRISON! THAT IS LESS THAN 10% OF YOUR MONTHLY INCOME THAT YOU WILL NOT MAKE WHILE IN PRISON FOR FEDERAL DRUG TRAFFICKING CHARGES! THAT IS LESS THAN 4 TANKS OF GAS THAT YOUR WIFE WILL SPEND, BRINGING YOUR KIDS TO VISIT YOU IN JAIL!

I hope this helps someone. Be safe, lift heavy, train hard, and God Bless!

SO that is great info. I started getting evrything erased and either staying that way or really faking it up. THe mailbox is a great one. I am finding it next to impossible to erase info online, and i never used twitter or that stuff ever. problem is be safe, but if they gonna get you they gonna get you. there are cameras everywhere in every town, every mailbox etc., For our safety, we are tracked hard. Yes ,I agree be safe and maybe some persons can go off grid or “more off grid” but the message is dont be oblivious and under the false sercurity that your safe. We get spoon fed our info and only know what they want to sell us. MONEY. When its racketeering, tax evasion or any RICO…youre fucked, you name on a inbox for a thing that might of gotten to you or not…well. I have always worried abiout the do gooder that owns the mom and pop mailbox store, contacting or snooping and alerting officer jones . Now your small bottle of “oil” is a major felony. its a tough day and age thats for sure good post.

i feel for you guys .in the uk no hassle .not rubbing it ,good advice to follow in general anyway .i also heard that keep checking tracking status can ring alarm bells .just rumour cant say its fact .

if i lived in the states i think i would take one risk and buy powder brew my own ,its the risk buying it and delivery etc .reduces the odds a little

What’s a good alternative to a personal mailbox? I live in an area that doesnt have mom and pop personal mailboxes and PO boxes now require ID verification
