Things i love about this county

So anyone that seen the movie field of dreams, if you missed the game last night, you missed something special that made me fall in love with baseball all over again. If you can. Watch the game. You won’t be disappointed… “is this heaven?” Yes. Yes it is.

I cried a little watching the game. I never thought I would see the day when Iowa hosted something major like that, and then the Yankees lost to boot, damnit.

I only watched the opening part. I cannot understand what people see in baseball. I don’t mind playing but no way can I watch it.

When you get older and can’t play the game like when you’re younger, it becomes more of a way to remember those glory days. Like football. I played for years. Then got broken, began to watch more. Just for the love of the game. Baseball is the same. Played a lot from 7-17. I just love the mechanics of the game. And why I watch both to this day now.

I’ve never been into baseball, used to love hockey. But when one of my supply house reps said he had tickets for Met/Yankees in September I jumped on it. 5 rows back behind the dugout. It’ll be the first game I’ve ever been to. Looking forward to it. I’ll post some pics afterwards.

I missed it but watched the opening clip. I did enjoy it. Nice to see something not being censored for once.
