Good I would hate to see it be an infection yeah I agree you just bleed a bit under the skin and probably put the oil in the fat layer or between the skin. It should still dissipate keeping it warm has helped for me in the past getting blood flow going -

It could definitely be a bad pin but if it gets bigger than go to walk in and get some meds. You don’t want a bad infection. @NeuroRN actually said put a mark around it and if it gets bigger than its time to get meds also warm and red are bad bruises usually mean that you bleed somewhere beneath...
