Personally I use the 1 year and 2 year method. 1year if I opened and did not finish the product. 2 years of sealed. I don’t think I’ve ever gone 2 years holding unopened gear, but have always used that at a standard. 1year after I open it. Just what I was taught many moons ago. 🤷‍♂️
