Good investments just a curious discussion

So I don’t know about anyone else but does anyone else like investing. I ofcourse don’t invest but a friend of mine does and lately a few investments have been really good.

Silver bullion
Silver was just below 20$ a troy oz a few months back and because of the strong economy it had dropped to as low as $13.98 a troy oz if you were to have gotten in at under $14.10 you will do great with a couple of 100oz. Its going to go back up to around 20$ an oz I believe after the elections in November. Especially if the Democrats do well the price will jump really high. 5 yrs ago silver was $40 an oz and im hoping that it goes that high again as my friend will have done very well.

Bitcoin
Everyone talks about bitcoin being a risky thing. With every investment comes risk but even btc is still a great investment. It has floated between $6000 to $7500 a coin for a couple of months now back and forth in a bull market. If you buy at $6200 and wait a couple of weeks it will climb to say $7200. Cash out and reinvest when it drops back to around $6000 doing this over and over for say 3 months straight just as an example would have gained you minimum $3000 for basically nothing but moving electronic numbers.

Gold bullion
Gold has been sitting around $1200 a troy oz and has dropped down to 1700 and went back up to 1300+ I believe that gold is a long term investment right now because some forget that gold was 2400$ when silver was $40 5 yrs ago and I believe that after November it will go up to around 1500$.

The classic equation is gold and silver are 50:1 well right now gold and silver are 85:1 so either gold is way over priced or silver is way under priced.
I believe that silver is way under priced and will out perform gold but both are a good investment in my personal opinion.

Anyone else have any stock tips or any opinions on good investments like real estate or really anything else that is legal to invest in.
Im curious to hear.

This is a complete opinion not advice im not allowed to give financial advice or am I qualified. Just a good off topic conversation I thought I would post.

Hope to hear somethings that maybe your friends have invested in and made money or even you.

We have been investing in real property and real estate for years. We then began diversying into businesses that are suppliers to a specific industry. These investments have led us to further diversify into storage units. For my wife and I we have always foucused on investments that are income producing. We hold very little stocks and a decent amount of precious medals in a self managed IRA.

We realize the benefit of a diverse income and at the same time have tangible assets if and when the time comes to liquidate.

We have had our share of business losses but through diversification we have always maintained a nice net gain. Our real estate holdings will only increase in value and our business holdings are less effected by market trends due to the industry.

Genius it has always amazed me that there is a billion dollar business in the states to store people’s stuff lol

Investments that produce hains while gaining value are probably the best kind.

I would like to add another great investment and you might laugh

WATER
The water supply in the states and the world continues to disappear. The whole west coast is going to be a desert soon enough especially after all these fires and rising temperatures.

Investments in water in the longterm will provide huge returns after about 10-15 more years.

Another of course is

MARIJUANA
Most have already missed the train but investments in the marijuana industry are going to be the next tech industry type gains.
Especially in other countries like Canada and once the prohibition ends in the states huge amounts of legal money will be made.

This is again just opinion not sound advice

I would say that investing in the company that is first in the market with a reliable active high test would be a sound investment.

I live in a legal green state and marijuana prices have plummeted making production a very poor investment in my mind. You can regularly pick up an ounce for under $100 at a dispensary.

I would personally invest in supplying the industry rather than be part of the industry. Soils, lightening, retail space, etc.

There are dispensaries on almost every corner and in every city in my state. Retail space has sky rocketed per sq. ft.

Be cautious brother disclosing locations. Enough small pieces of information leads to a well paved road to your front door. 😉 Just in.my short time here a few members have painted a pretty good picture for someone who is qualified to put all those small pieces together.

Here is an article on an overview on a few of the most profitable crops to grow per acre. Let’s call it a working investment vs. a silent investment.
https://www.profitableplantsdigest.com/10-most-profitable-specialty-crops-to-grow/

I currently have 1500 potted Japanese Maples at different stages of maturity. I am leaning towards placing 1/3 of them in the ground for quicker growth and development. I recently sold a mature lions main maple to a new homeowner for $2K. I had under $100 plus time invested.

Its funny that you posted this because I have for years wanted to invest in land and while waiting for the property values to rise and to cover taxes start a tree farm.
I would most likely grow palms or another low maintenance high value type of tree like bamboo and I see that it is actually on the list.

I am in the process looking for 15 acres close to river access for a Hazelnut orchard. Hazelnut trees mature and begin to produce in 2-5 years. Of course the first harvests will be smaller and increase in size yearly. I have access to a grant for blight resistant trees so now I only have to find a property that fits the needs for a decent orchard with water access.
