This is my first bike, I wanted something I wasn’t going to be afraid of hurting. Cost $1800. I was skeptical of the cost there has got to be something wrong with it, but turns out it’s just a retired motorcycle dealer, turned 78, can’t ride his bikes anymore, and is now cleaning up his garage and has a bunch of bikes to sell. Had a good 2 hour Convo with the guy

I am a Harley man. My First Bike I went huge, all custom, with a 300 tire. Yeah definitely not a beginner bike

My hopes is to keep this bike going for a long time. I see it as a great project to not only learn how to ride, but also continue to fix, modify, and add to.

And depending on how reliable it is, it might become my secondary transport to work when I start putting the sti engine into my legacy.

Enjoy the bike. My first was a Katana. Broke some ribs, hand, and a foot in my first year of riding. It was great 🤣

Yeah, it’s funny, a few people I’ve shared the news too are like “don’t fall, don’t crash” and I’m all like, crashing is inevitable, I just hope it’s not into something solid, large, and immovable.

Now that I think of it, I’ve crashed so many times on mountain bikes. Literally every scar I got has been from a bike injury. Thankfully no broken bones, unless you count my nose, that has broke multiple times, and not from bikes ironically.

Yeah I’ve had too many friends die on bikes for me to get one. Also if have too many thoughts of running of the road with a car at times but figure I would just end up paralyzed so reverse that thought on bike I May take my chances
