Just curious concerning my GC brethren

Guys,

I’m rather curious.

With this virus spreading around the globe and the subsequent doom and gloom being portrayed by many, has anyone purchased a handgun for possible protection for you and your family? Now John, I’m not talking about a AR15 replica pellet gun…I’m talking about the real deal:)

Ha ha ok then… I will throw a tip out there though, if anyone that couldn’t purchase a gun for some reason or another, but has a shotgun that isn’t worth to much, for better home protection, saw the barrel off.

I haven’t bought more, I do have a shotgun that was relatively cheap, really worth sawing that Barrell down? I know it’ll get you more spread, suppose in tight quarters in the house, easier to move about.

It’s probably not worth it,cause you shouldn’t be missing with a shotgun inside a house anyway, but then again, if it’s specifically for home defense and gets used for nothin else, then why not… None of mine are sawed off

I should say that in some states after you saw it off, you may have just made it illegal, depending how much length is left on the barrel

And @Ldog why did you specifically mention handguns? It’s easier to obtain a shotgun then pistol… your not afraid of big guns now are you RickyRecon?

If you saw it off just know it leaves a distinct fingerprint on the back of a slug… so I’ve read but @John crossbows there a trick for forensics 🤣

Well I’m glad you asked. They are more pratical, easier to move around with, have multiple rounds in the magazine, can be concealed and with the right individual at the control, they can take down numerous people. Also, they can be silenced. Just my two cents.
