On a weird schedule again so just had dinner. Went with searing a flat iron steak on the gas range then finishing it off to medium in the oven. Also added a crapload of steamed broccoli with just some salt. I recently started buying my meat in bulk as after doing the math this much cheaper than going to the store every week or so…particularly because the price of meat in particular is just getting insane (as with practically everything).
Any others eating late or have pics of their “masterpiece” from earlier? Going to try and use the charcoal grill tomorrow to cook some boneless, skinless chicken thighs with a nice smokey rub. Need to get my smoker back up and running but don’t currently have any large cuts of meat like brisket or pork butts on hand.
