Test Only Cycle Question

Not my first cycle more like my 4/5th but I’ve came off a really long break from taking anything probably around a year and didn’t hit the gym a whole lot either just needed a good mental break from it all. Now I was on around 150mg test for trt for most the year I did come off it for 3 months just to experiment what would happen and I lost some muscle and added some fat but no gym and bad diet. The past couple months back on trt and hitting gym 5/6 days with cardio everyday and diet is back on track so I’m wanting to get back some of what I lost. Any reason a test only cycle wouldn’t be in order? Maybe 500-750mg for 12-16 weeks. Only reason I’m asking is I’ve been reading a lot of people crap on test only cycles and always advising adding another compound, I’m assuming because estrogen related things with test. I’ve used Npp and tren in the past. I’m was just hoping being off super physiological doses for awhile will help me gain more from less. Just wanted opinions if it’s worth throwing some deca in there. Which I plan to do maybe this fall. Thanks in advance!

Step 2: you want more from less, increase your test until you determine the level you can run without ancillary. THEN you have the choice of increase test and us AI. or increase test and add a secondary compound that has AI properties for most people (primo and EQ)

Step 3: draw labs periodically and get back what you lost.

Many people have made great gains on test only cycles. There’s no reason to poo poo on them.
 
Thanks! Labs are next in order before I start any cycle for sure. Just taking another month or so of getting back into dialing in food and gym before I hop back into anything. With starting back my trt at 150mg/week I can already see a lot of fullness returning and that’s on a few hundred calorie deficit.
