This Virus And Your Life.....What Has Changed For You?

I will say this for my state, not any of the other 8 however, Iowa has neither a shelter in place or stay at home order, but EVERYTHING in this state, with the exception of grocery stores, pharmacy’s, gas stations and hospitals are closed… the grocery stores, pharmacy’s and gas stations are all operating under shortened hours, Home Depot, Lowe’s and Menards are all still open because builders are all still working as of now, but those 3 stores along with Walmart’s (grocery) and Super Target (grocery) are only allowing 5 people per 1000 sq ft of store space in, with a line formed outside and 6’ between people waiting in line. Everything that is closed, Gyms, Libraries, Public Parks, City/County offices, salons, bars, restaurants, malls, schools, colleges, etc, have all been closed since the 16th of March, and as of now, nothing is re opening until at least May 1st… so even though we’re not shelter in place or stay at home, this state has been on lock down for almost a month… my wife’s twin sister lives in a burb of Minneapolis, they called yesterday and she and her husband were trash talking Iowa because our governor hadn’t imposed either shelter in place or stay at home, however they were calling from a packed public park, and their two daughters (middle schools and high school) are still going to their friends houses and anywhere they can that’s open.
 
I ended up buying a squat rack, 4 45lb plates, multi angle bench and an olympic bar…
We are getting close to closing everything down(everything in my town, for the most part is closed), included the secret gym that I sneak off to that is in another county.
 
This virus has everyone buying up all the alcohol prep pads. I’ve been in every store in Sevier county for two weeks now. Finally managed to locate two boxes.
 
Buy the small makeup pads. They are round. Get some rubbing alcohol 93% is the best. But 70% will do the job if not. I use them. They work great.

I hadn’t thought about that at all. I went ahead and grabbed 200 today. The plan if I ran out was a clean cloth and alcohol. Letting it dry good of course before pinning. I’ll keep the make up pads in mind. Good tip @TBU.
 
Working back today. Here’s my farmer fix for back. Pull down. Lats rows. Triceps and biceps. Not the greatest but for 70 bucks not too bad. 😂

In the heart of downtown Alton, Ill., in a tavern right off the Mississippi River, an illicit party was rumbling into the early morning hours of Sunday.

Complaints from residents had poured in over the past week that Hiram’s Tavern had been operating on weekends despite Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s stay-at-home executive order, the Alton Police Department said. I know someone’s life in this has changed 😆

I’m a first responder so work has been busy. My gym that I own has been closed for 3 weeks . Fighting to stay in business through all of this. Family and I have sulfates healthy so far. Another 14 hr shift tonight so we will see what that brings. Crime, accidents and traffic are all down so 1 bright spot out of all this shit.

My wife begs me to smack her around sometimes! It took some getting used to!! That’s a WHOLE different discussion though! When we first got together her sister saw marks on her neck and asked her “is he hurting you?” She said “yes, and I love it” I was super embarrassed!
 
Hahaha I accidentally put a giant welt and this lady I was sleeping with at the time above her eye. Drunk me thought that throwing her in a triangle and seeing if I could get off from blowie before she passed out. Well we never got that far as I threw my legs up and launched her across the room. The next morning we went cabrewing and she had to explain to her sister that it wasn’t anything bad

Reminds me of the time I had this woman riding me and I picked her up by the waist to really get er good and when I brought her down hard I smacked her nose on the headboard and she ended up bleeding all over my chest.
