Winter is Coming - How to Avoid The Bodybuilding Winter Workout Rut

Frosty The Snowman is ready to steal all of your hard earned work away from you.

Winter is coming my friends. Holidays will soon be upon us. Combine that with the new year and it makes for a perfect storm to get distracted from our main objectives.

The excuses pile up and we take two steps backwards from where we ended up at the beginning of beach season. Just to start all over again?!

Get your mojo on and stay in the zone through this coming winter.
  1. Update your song list. Listen to something new. Something different. Go high energy and high intensity.
  2. Find a reason to be at the gym other than for training. You can argue against this but I am a man. I know how men think and if you are looking to run into that certain someone doing squats in spandex thats good enough to get my ass to the gym.
  3. Challenge yourself to develop a new discipline. Yoga, organized stretching, kick boxing, etc. You never know what you might enjoy and what will keep you on track.
  4. Be realistic. If you don’t want to go don’t go but don’t come crying when you return to your old physique because of your own choices.
  5. Eat clean. Enough said.
Keep it real and keep it simple.

I have already started to make this mistake.
I was so lean and I let it go.
I needed this to remind me to not fall off
