Year-Round Blasting Vs. Cycling On And Off — What’s Optimal Long-Term?

Alright fellas, let’s open this one up for real discussion.

There’s always been this debate—do you cycle your gear, or do you just blast year-round with careful health monitoring? We’ve all heard the two camps:

• 1 : The traditional “on/off” guys—run a cycle, come off, let your body rest, recover natural test (if that’s even realistic), maybe toss in some PCT and cruise for a while.

• 2: The year-round blasters—the ones who say, let’s stay in a performance zone as long as blood work stays solid.

So here’s the big question…

Is it actually feasible to blast year-round if health markers are in check (lipids, BP, RBC, kidney, liver, etc.)?

And if so… is it truly “optimal” for long-term progress?

Long-term blasting means you need to have all your boxes checked—labs, supplementation, diet, and some damn common sense. Most don’t.

We’ve seen guys do it and look great—for a while. But what’s the trade-off when you’re 10-15 years deep?

At the same time, the argument against cycling is: “You’re either building or you’re not.” Coming off fully for months at a time? For someone with serious physique goals, is that just wasted time?

I’m curious where you all stand.
• Have you run year-round successfully?
• Ever had health issues sneak up on you?
• Did cycling off help you or just kill your momentum?
• What’s your lab work say after extended blasts?

I’ve (basically) been on for about 30 years. Before that… in my 20’s… I was on and off. Pre internet it was very casual and cavalier. Just get on the sauce and get off the sauce.

Year round range

Test 200-500 a week

Proviron every day or mast e 100-300 a week

Cialis pwo

Sdrol pwo for month or so then off for a couple months.

I’ve used other stuff over the decades but nothing long term.

The first thing we all have to realize is we’re going to pay the piper for this game we play. One way or another. The question IMO isn’t which one is healthy… but how much are you willing to pay the man when he comes around.

Stay on, run labs often, get your echo done, ct calcium score, abdominal ultrasound… lots of shit doesn’t show up on labs.
