18 gauge needle = pig sticker

Ran out of 25 gauge injection needles for my trt yesterday. I woke up and thought well I’ll just use the 18 gauge drawing needle. How bad can it be? Don’t recommend it. That’s a lot of reality at 530 in the morning. Btw when I went to post in trt section the category description was in the text box. I’m an old technology disadvantaged guy. Am I just doing it wrong?

Back in the day that was the preloaded Syringe across the boarder. 18 gauge 1.5 inch… And it was Sustonon. That had pip with the 18 gauge pip.

When I first started way back when, I was told I had to use 22 gauge 1.5" needles in my butt. Jesus, that fucking hurt. Made me want to use long esthers.

Now, nothing but insulin needles and short esthers. 27gauge 1" max. All good, no pain. Do it every day.

I’m spoiled as shit because my future wife works in the medical industry so I just order directly from supplier.

BD needles are the only thing I use anymore, even their insulin needles are superior.

Sharper, and the plunger moves like butter compared the off brand stuff or pharmacy brand.

Ya I’m going to go online next time. The guy at the pharmacy treated me like a junkie even though I had my trt prescription. And it’s legal in my state without prescription.

Definitely been there before. I once had a pharmacist tech tell me that I needed a prescription for needles with a big line behind me really loud in a condescending tone and shit eating smirk on his face.

He was completely shocked when I loudly said to him back, “you should understand the laws and regulations better if you plan on being in medical field, where’s your pharmacist?”

Pharmacist comes rolling out from behind the back before I could finish my sentence to agree with me and with the syringes in hand.

I wasn’t angry, but I do like to respond back with a super calm response that embarrasses them for their attempt to doing it to me.

Bro 18 gauge is what they use for aggressive volume resuscitation when person is bleeding out. Crazy hearing that you guys use to IM inject with that.

Oh that will be the last time. I went out the next day and remedied that situation. It was a drawing needle I don’t know if it wasn’t as sharp as the injection needle or just bigger. Felt like pushing a pencil into my leg.
