Trt injections not quite right

What’s up everyone! I have something I’d like to get your suggestions on. I have been on trt for almost 10 years now. The 1st 6 were by doctor. The last 4 is self care. (I get blood tests semi-annually) anyway I have never had issues with pinning. I draw up with an 18 G and inject with a 25 G. I rotate between my booty cheek and both thighs with weekly pinning. Over the last several months I have had developing issues. When I pin it’s almost like i can barely push the testosterone Cyp. in to my body. Its quite painful as well. I have always warmed it under water and took my shot right after showering. Anyway the next day my injection site is red and hurts. Its hard as a rock as well. Over the next several days it will hurt and the redness spreads until about day 4 its back to normal. I switched “sponsors” with the last order. Its legitimate stuff according to bloodwork and I’m honestly not 100% tge time this started coincides with switching. Could it possibly be the carrier oil used or maybe different needles that I’m using? My friend believes maybe its scar tissue build up (which maybe explains the needle being harder to push) however I’m not so sure. Anybody have any suggestions or opinions?

Scar tissue won’t leave a redness after. Needles won’t matter unless dirty. That’s most likely a carrier oil issue. You can try and put half a cc into your shoulder and see if anything from it.

You shouldn’t need to draw with 18. 25g should be fine to draw and pin.

I get the same thing every so often. I can’t explain it.

It just goes away. I dunno. I use 2 different sponsors and scripts from pharmacy and all of them do it occasionally.

I’m not sure what it is 100% but I’m switching back to the original and seeing if the oil is the problem. I used to get it every so often if i hit a particular spot wrong but this is way worse.

My glutes probably have a lot of scar tissue. It’s been decades…over 30 years. Delts were the same way.

I’m currently trying to work all that out.

I believe you can “break it up”. Deep tissue massage. Rolling on a baseball, lacrosse ball, pvc pipes etc… drink plenty of h2o afterwards.

I’ve had that done once a long time ago. A new chiropractor right out of college was experimenting on me. He did my traps. It worked.

I wanted to buy the tools for home use but so fucking expensive for a single set and ordering in bulk from China is pointless unless 10 people want them.

Dude!!! My new year is starting out great!!! I just googled graston therapy near me and the young doc from years ago (moved away) is 10 minutes away. Advertising graston therapy.

I just scheduled a new patient appointment for next Friday.

I’m freaking stoked.

Along with that… my trt doc was retiring but is opting for part time and I’ve seen him recently enough that I’m still under his care…. No hunting for a new doc there either!!!

2024 is shaping up nicely.

Similiar to Rolfing. John parrilo and Rolphing. It was supposed to stretch the 9fascia , so the muscle has more room to gprow. I almost threw up when i had my calves done!

What a coincidence you mention Graston Therapy! My wife and I have been going to a new young chick Chiro for about 4 months now who is pretty much out of a school for a year and has been doing the Graston on us. Maybe I can get her to do my ass cheeks and thighs, too. 😂

I think it has started to make a huge difference with my lower back and the bad knots I get between my lower traps/shoulder blades, or occasionally in the upper traps.

You don’t have to get it done every time, if you’re too tender or not up for the added treatment, but she offers it with each visit included and even offers laser therapy for needed areas.
