3 year old Father's Day Gift

So my daughter’s bought me a raspberry bush about 3 years back. I had it in a big nice pot to grow in and one of them dug it up. It was just 3 dead twigs when I found it. I took it down to the woods and replanted it. It didn’t have thorns when they bought it. A year later when it popped up it had thorns but never produced any berry’s. This year she popped up and is covered in berry’s.

I’m pretty stoked about being able to just pick and eat fresh raspberries! Now to grow some blackberries!

I do too. I’ll probably have a few gallon. It finally rained last night. They was starting to wilt a little.

Keeping the damn wild birds off them is the trick those and Blackberrys 2. I got a farm absolutely covered in Blackberrys id love to send to you, I bushhog acres of them bastards

Can’t say that I have. Hadn’t ever even heard of them. When I was a kid my dad’s dad had a farm covered in blackberries. We had dairy cattle, beef cattle, and raised tobacco back then. Good Ole days.

Yes sir. For me for sure. My granny divorced my papa but still got the property when he passed. She sold it and ran through the money after remarrying numerous times. I still drive by the property and reminisce from time to time.
