It works especially I think for that stage goign beginer to intermediate. Ti never used the Jim wendler template but the old bigger fast stronger one inguess. Once you get into bigger weight s recovery becomes a bit of issue at least the way i did it which was top set rpe 9.5 every week then fourth week deload
