A little help from the ladies and/or anyone with knowledge!

Hey UGmembers~
A little help. I’ve got a tricky issue to solve or at least understand. My girlfriend, whom is amazing and supports my lifestyle, has been struggling with hormone issues for years. She is POST menopausal at 32… yea no estrogen… like at all. It’s really taxing and we’ve been looking into GH as a slight boon/relief. No not a solution. But maybe step up the quality of life. Most docs want her on estrogen… her family med history and her own frown on that… we just beat cervical cancer this past December. Yea lots of fun. But I’ll take all the wins in that category. So here’s the rub… will a low dose 1-2iu for her provide more pros then cons??? I want to say yes based on most literature but I take my info with some salt and I’d love input from a community that treats compounds as they need to be treated! Thanks well in advance.

Damn bro. First off I’m super happy to hear that she beat her cancer. The mental state of a person has a lot to do with their abilities to fight and it speaks volumes about her. I’m sure it’s also been extremely difficult for her having gone through menopause at such a young age. Again her resolve and mental state must be iron clad and that’s awesome.

As for the estrogen related cancers, you’d have to get better confirmation and clarification but from my general knowledge, extremely high and or uncontrollable estrogen is typically the cause of certain cancers in women. With having no estrogen at all, I would have to assume that a low dosed birth control consisting of estrogen and progesterone would do wonders for her emotional and hormonal balance. My opinion for anyone in any situation is that regardless of what family or friends “think they know” and what they “think is best” shouldn’t be taken into consideration at all. It’s her health and her body. If her doctors think the rewards out weigh the risks and she wants to at least try it, she should. Those people in her life don’t have to live her life and experience what she has to experience daily. Just the same, she could shove my perspective and opinion about it back in my face and you know what, I’d respect that because I don’t have to live her life.

I also carry the opinion that she has already beaten cancer, has already shown a propensity for cancer and her family having a history of cancers screams NO to GH. One of the first things that bioidentical doctors look for when considering the use of GH is cancer. They typically will not suggest or prescribe GH if there is a history of cancer or cancerous tumors in the patient. The reason being is not that GH can cause cancer but it has clinically been proven to have the potential to speed up or exacerbate cancerous cells and aide in their growth.

cancer is a tricky thing … but unless I am mistaken there is only one thing that causes cervical cancer and that thing is not estrogen related.

having gone through something very similar myself I got myself to a doctor that agreed to put me on HRT … I was literally making no estrogen of my own. if the docs want her on estrogen ( insist on bioidentical NO premarin or synthetics … ) GET IT!!!

She will be much happier and so will everyone who is involved in her life !!

HGH is pretty risky as a general rule for cancer survivors but I do know a cancer survivor that uses it regularly for assist with some neurological dis orders and has remained cancer free for several years now
HOWEVER… HGH isn’t going to help her much because what she needs is estrogen.

birth control is actually one of the causes of no estrogen … and it doesn’t really have the same effect because low estrogen in women is low estrogen and you still get the side effects of low estrogen… in other words… she will still be miserable

Appreciate it. Yea I’m right there with ya. It’s certainly a personal choice. And speaking for myself it’s a tough one. I’m also a cancer survivor (although mine was at a very young age.) even before I decided to try anabolics the decision was rough. This all came about because I just started my first cycle of GH and it’s been going well. (Side note, can I post a touchdown and intro review for my source? I have baseline and current bloods 😁) we only get one life and sometimes there’s a bit more dice rolling then we’d like. I’d rather feel like the sun is shining and have confidence in myself and my physique. It’s the version of yourself in your head that you have to have. Or what you strive for. I want her to make the call with as much info as possible. I’m also a hard ass about frequent tests to keep an eye on all of it. It’s her body and her life, I don’t want to keep her from it if the potential is her happiness and at the same time it’s terrifying if the worst occurs. Just having UGM to ask is huge. Even if you’re the only reply! Knowledge is everything :muscle:t3:

I’m not 100% on that. My wife just came off of a birth control pill that was being used to regulate her estrogen and progesterone and she has low estrogen and lower testosterone (12ng) last blood test.

Unless I’m wrong I do believe that different birth controls contain different levels of hormone to either raise or lower a womans estrogen.

As for the HRT I hadn’t thought about that until you posted but seeing as Testosterone does aromatise in both women and men, it would help to raise her estrogen levels. Good call @KodiakGrrl

Thanks for the responses, she’s been off birth control for years. She had a doc walk in and say “well, I hope you weren’t planning on having kids” I could’ve gone to jail had she not stopped me from knocking on his office door. Two weeks later he was saying “maybe, with HRT” what a nightmare. Her biggest concern is the family background of cervical cancer and if she took the estrogen it would set her up for another round of cancer and it wouldn’t end well. Unfortunately I’m still learning the ins and outs of the female anatomy. I hate being under prepared in conversations with her. I’ve had her join UGM but I don’t know if she’s truly grasped the potential. She’s completely natural in her fitness regimen and we are grasping at straws as it were. Thanks again :facepunch:t3:

We help anyone in any way we know how man. We can help her along her journey to build and maintain her natural lifestyle and physique and you’ve got my word that no one would ever pressure her to go any other route. I’ll straight up ban someone for that.

I should clarify here… bc that uses progestin (not estrogen) will shut down the system

Once I started cycling I was able to drop the HRT therapy completely which means I have a boat load of estrogen and progesterone sitting around 🤷‍♀️

No one who has struggled with cancer or has a chance to struggle with cancer should use hgh because it makes tumors and cancers become worse so much faster.
I would go to the hrt doctor and see what he thinks after bloodwork.
See if he lays out a plan that will help. It is hard to find a good one so do the most research you can about the doctors in your area.
