Almost time to kill ruts in full swing

Going out with my dad today, we haven’t hunted together this bow season yet, we got one each so far let’s see what happens, it will be fun and relaxing to sit there, and if one of us whacks one, well even better. I should say we are not sittin in same tree, he is about 500 meters away from me.

I’ve never shot a real cross bow it looks bad ass in the box
Enjoy yourself with your pops brother I imagine you 2 have a great time together out there
 
Used to shoot them in hallway of apt. I enjoyed cross bow more than guns
 
That’s actually my interest in them is because you can shoot them anywhere and honestly run out of bullets and Arrows are all that’s left.

I prefer shooting my compound bow over any gun. It takes strength under control. Sometimes I’ll do cardio in the garage and then shoot the bow as rest sets to get used to shooting with HR elevated.

I don’t have anywhere to hunt anymore but it’s a fun hobby to have.
 
I am staying at a hotel in LA and there is a old Marine vet staying here. He is always out in the front smoking cigs and drinking beer in his wheel chair. He fought Vietnam like my dad. I hang out with him and listen to him tell me stories and he gives me money to go get him beer. He always gives me too much and I try give him the difference back but he won’t take it. He is a cool ass mofo. I like hanging with him.
 
Ohh it’s killer man. That HR is high and you are trying to shoot 40 yards and your all over the place. It’s a good one.
 
No his deer so he kept the good stuff I cut up like 10 lbs a jerky and kept a roast
