Around here its duis…alcohol.

I’m not a proponent of driving drunk by no means but here if you eat lunch at work at noon and stop off to drink TWO beers on the way home you can get locked up. You might beat the breathalyzer number in court but you’re getting charged with a pound of flesh for something…impaired.

Years ago I just quit stopping.

Read up on it, it’s 100% true. The prison guard unions are creating the biggest push back against legalization. I always thought maybe instead of having all these drug task forces we don’t really need we could redirect those resources toward stopping child sex trafficking. Wouldn’t that be nice. But clearly nobody in power gives any fucks about that subject, nobody’s gonna be quick to lock up their own people right?

Agreed but when I was using it was plain as day for anyone to know exactly what I was doing every part of it it was written all over my face my actions where I went who I was with it’s easy arrests but truly the countries or places that have safe spaces and legalize have great success legal or not it’s still going to happen it would solve a lot of the problems from drug abuse just by legalizing it and helping people be safe and or get help if wanted when I went to a program I had to call everyday at open for over a month until the intake lady got sick of hearing my voice and was like fine we will make room
Come tomorrow people always say addicts don’t get the help available and a lot of us don’t but taking that step to ask for help is hard enough let alone when you hear no from everywhere you reach out it’s an easy well looks like I have no choice

Sooo in a effect of lifting. How does it help in your opinion? VA probably won’t ever approve it lol,
If I can ask why do you visit the VA so much?

With me it helps as far as the soreness from lifting.

I go to the VA as I’ve had 5 surgeries from being injured in Afghanistan.

I take 8 different medications and none of them are as beneficial as medical marijuana.

VA wont allow it as it’s considered a schedule 1 drug.
