Best way to maintain a pump

He’s going out to the club after and wants the arms to stay thick. But, the ladies always pull the shirt up to see the midsection. They are quick! Then you have to explain to them that whole rule about you have to have abs at over 200 or it considered a wasting disease, blah blah. Are you thinking longer the blood is in a body part the better the growth or something. Putting back what you lost during your training mostly water and electrolytes. I don’t want to mention the word but the before and after work out or just the immediate insulin spike(whichever way you do it) and protein with some sodium like McDonald’s and no bun gives a unreal fullness to an already “lean body” but going down that really dumb rabbits hole is why I shouldn’t be on here while I wait for my relief!

😂😂 you crack me up. I’m curious about this long term pump. There’s no actual training benefit to a pump is there? I may be wrong but I was always told training for a pump was the wrong way to train? Teach me your ways.

Except McDonald’s. Keep that to yourself.

As long as everything is in order, diet, a rest, etc. It is my opinion any consistent training can “work” I , personally have liked a little more volume or working most body parts twice a week. For year’s, I did a width day for back, rear dealts and traps and a thickness day. All that meant was rows and deadlifts one day and different grip pull downs the other. No biomechanics thought of, same with legs one would be heavier, squats always at end, so I wouldn’t want to go ego heavy and then id do a leg volume day with maybe going back and forth supersetting quads and hams, or a giant set x 3 for each. The only style I never could adapt to was “heavy duty” like Ellington darden or Arthur Jones. Yates actually seemed like he warmed up and then did a hard “one set” with drops and other stimulation. I started as a power lifter and I was just a kid, putting up crazy numbers. I loved the different theories like deads off a box, to hit different parts of the lifts. This was almost 40 years ago and I was in with a great lifting team of guys but harm reduction wasn’t in their dictionary yet!!! The USPF and APF along with ADFPA:thinking:🤔 had qualifying totals for certain meets. So the best could be there. Saturday’s in a power gym were great and learned so much…but id always sneak in more arms and calves! Signs of a bber.!

Don’t think there is a long term pump. Competitors get a pump right before going on stage and is short term. Want to “look” pumped I’d say being lean and carb manipulation is best to look as full as you can

Whats that crap those South American dudes like injecting into their biceps… there’s always that. Hahaha

Maybe like two hoursish. If that’s even possible. Lol. It’s parents night at the football game. My son likes having the biggest dad at the school. Now my buddy who is bigger (muscle wise then me) his son is now going back to school there so now I’m second fiddle lol. Gonna do it for my kid and also to give a little shit to my friend. With a good pump I look as big as him. Lol. I know I’m cheesy but whatever it’s fun.

I have dbol pills some leftover Godzilla piss creatine (which I never use cause I get enough in my diet) but would be willing to use it for a day.

Am getting hydrated as possible.

How does carb manipulation work for this?
