Buying weights online

I know people were already talking about having a hard time acquiring weights to buy so you can workout at home, so my sister is coming to the dark side and gonna run some Var,but she’s lacking weights,where has anyone got them online to buy?

I’ve gotten mine from yard sales and word of mouth. That or buy them new for a small fortune.

@Shock6050 has been getting pretty good deals from somewhere.

Amazon of course. Letgo. And FB for sale. Stuff. Got all my dumbells from let go. All local sellers. Lots of gym closings back last year was awesome for buying free weights.

Yeah amazon is quite expensive

It is. But it’s the only place I could find weights for the wife. I bought 5 through 30 for here.

Titan fitness is a great place for home gym equipment! As far as just loose weights I’ve used Dicks, Walmart and Amazon!

I’ll check for an exact site name… but York, or New York Dumbell, one or the other had good weights too!

Yorkbarbell.com, I wouldn’t really consider them commercial or anything, but I’ve used a bench from them… it’s good for home use!

If you have to go new, titan fitness has been great to deal with on several purchases.

We got most ours from FB marketplace, let go, and play it again sports if you can still find one that’s open.

Cost are ridiculous right now John… even York dumbbell is 5 month behind in having traditional plates back in stock. Friend of mine opened a small, private training facility a few months back, it’s nearly impossible to get items at a reasonable price.

My deals have been through FB Marketplace for used. I just picked up 2 45s, 2 35s, 2 25s, 2 10s, 4 5s, and 2 2.5s for $360

For new amazon prices are ridiculous. Bells of Steel seems to have new plates in stock and reasonable. Rogues prices are fair too for the standard iron ones but you have to get on a notification list

I was just trying my hand at selling stuff through the FB Marketplace for baby toys (jumpers/swings) and sold all 4 in less than an hour. Couldn’t believe how fast people were responding. Now can put that money back into the gym.
