I always appreciate a thank you, but most the time I just want to say, I did it cause I was bored with life, and figured I might as well get paid to carry a gun, throw grenades, and fuck people up that are bad… anything else that comes from my service is just a fringe benefit.
My 4 boys and my daughter all have fam fired and can dial in dope on my AR and M14. And all shoot my .45s. We have a sweet range up north that has 300 meter targets. And I have one south of me that has targets out to 800. Not one of them have shot out to 800. But all can do well on a Dog target at 300 meters. 2 of my 4 are in the Corps. The oldest in the Corps was the last platoon to do iron sites in recruit training. That was 7.3 years ago… times have changed my friend…
