What’s up y’all Happy Halloween

I donated blood today for the first time at my works blood drive. I know they took some vials for “testing” does anyone know what they test for and if I will receive the results?

You won’t get any results bro. They need to make sure your blood is okay for someone to receive. Thank you for giving blood and helping save lives.

When I donate, they’ll send me a sheet with my vital signs from that day and a lipid profile. They also test for blood born diseases.

If it was with the red cross they do like 5or 6 tests that are looking for diseases, and will not receive anything from them unless your test come back positive for something. Basically if you don’t hear from them then you’ve got nothing, but if you do then they notify you.
