Hey guys and gals! I’m back. So I’ve been on a hiatus here for about a year. Long story short EQ fucked me up lol. I’ve ran multiple things over the years including the big bad tren and i had very few side effects. So last year i decide to try something a little easier on the body. I read up on EQ and decided it seemed safer and less harsh than Tren. So about 5 weeks in and I’m feeling pretty good. I have my diet on track. Im taking appropriate supplements. I start to do a set of deadlifts. Nothing too heavy. Just the normal and i get a nose bleed. 2 hours later I’m in the ER because the damn thing won’t stop. Turns out my blood pressure is 195/102 and i have a busted blood vessel in my nose. They caterized it and now im on 2 blood pressure meds that keep it right around 140/85. Dr cant seem to get it any lower. Ive been keeping on my 125mg of trt over the past year. Still hitting the gym but my diet has been out of whack. This was my first big health scare and i think that fucked me up a little in the head. (I’m 35) Anyway I’m getting close to needing to reorder test and I’m in my head thinking about ordering something to go with it. I have a fellow friend that’s enhanced that thinks i may have had some weird reaction to EQ or that my body just can’t handle it. Either way it’s good to be back. Thanks for reading my rambling. Perhaps I’ll try my luck again and this time reach out to the experts here for advice.

I only ask bc i know people are going to rulebout the easiest 1st
But ive never played with that 1 yet so im not much help

37 we are middle aged so be scared of you worry of dying. Hahah wonder if it was eq or just everything finally catching up.I can’t remember if you are time off between cycles pwrson. I’m a stupid I went heavy for 2.5 years so let try an salvage some good Effort pushingint it for about 2 years to then push it for a show and then let me live at like 245 with shoulders

Sorry to hear about your troubles.

Prior to all this… had you been monitoring your BP?

Maybe you were predisposed to high BP and the gear just exacerbated it. You might have been walking around with high BP and didn’t know it.

It’s called the “silent killer” for just that reason. That stuff will creep on you and before you know it… it’s all over ya.

Thats honestly what I’m thinking. Ive always monitored it while running gear though and never had that kind of spike. I’ve read EQ can be pretty bad at raising the BP in general. Its definitely something i will keeping a close eye on now.

Well kudos to you for monitoring AND having the maturity level to back off when your sides went awry.

You’re young brother and you have plenty of time to recover and/or adjust your ped’s to find that sweet spot as you move forward with life.

You’re one of the few that saved your own life by using common sense and having the “live to fight another day” mentality.

My mother has high blood pressure. I’ve decided if and when I do jump back on anything I’m going forward with the upmost caution. Dr also thinks I may have sleep apnea thats causing part of the blood pressure issue as well. I’m scheduled for a sleep study soon.

may have sleep apnea
A little advice.

I went through all that. It’s been maybe 5 years or so and I just now dialed in the “aha thing”. The lady at the med supply store i had to get my machine and supplies at was an idiot. She recommended all the wrong stuff and gave me the exact wrong info. I suffered for years. They’ve since fired her.

A couple of months ago I was in there getting filters new head gear etc and an old dude (haha older than me) was doing the same. He was getting a different style face mask than I had. He recommended the new one. The new lady said I could change. So I did and that brought everything into where it’s supposed to be.

I sleep almost perfect now.

Amlodapine and a diuretic. It seems to help. I’m also taking garlic supplements now as well and have tried cutting back on my sodium intake.

In your opinion, did getting the sleep apnea taken care of significantly improve your life? I don’t even know if i have it but I failed the doctors assessments pretty bad. I’ve always snored loud and been tired no matter the amount of sleep I get. I usually just live off caffeine lol. My Dr says that it can have a significant effect on not only blood pressure but a ton of other things. The damn studies are booked 3 months out or i would already know.

I take Telmisartan (80 mg) and Nebivolol (2.5mg) to control my bp.

They may be worth talking to your doctor about.

Bystolic (nebivolol) and cardiac health General
**DISCLAIMER: 1. This is long. I’m sorry but I fell down the rabbit hole and pulled from my own research and found a few other forums discussing the very same thing. 2. I’m no doctor, I didn’t stay at a holiday inn express, BUT the majority of my career has been spent in cardiac ICU’s from open heart to transplant to cardiac caths. And I’ve seen my fair share of old school body builders after years of AAS albeit at abusive levels. Bystolic (nebivolol) is a third generation cardio selective bloc…

It did NOT do doodly squat for me until I got the correct headgear.

Now it’s noticeably better. Nowhere near the afternoon fatigue as before.
