Wow that’s a ton of prize options! Honestly I’ve never heard of this tournament though probably because I live in a location away from great fishing. Well first day of battle on bago. 50mph gust could keep shanty from blowing across ice had to fish against car to block wind. Found a place to nestle for the night while fishing for walleyes coming in shallow. Boys are loving it

This morning 2 degrees 20 mph wind and windchills of -20. Boys are fine and having a blast doing cold weather camping. I’d call it survival but it’s really not Now next winter we may go up to the UP and do a winter survival trip no tents no heaters. Have to make a shelter outta cedar boughs. Lol. They used tip ups all night didn’t catch anything only had one flag. Kids caught three perch and a large mouth yesterday. Wife caught five perch and sun fish. I caught one perch. Wife always out hunts and out fishes everyone. Cold front came in and fish are so damned tight lipped. Gonna make for not many fish getting registered for tournament. Have enough for a fish fry tonight anyways.

Jogging hopping Gilles lines keep freezing up so have to go in car and thaw them out then go back out and try again lol
