Just got my hands on Semaglutide the other day. Really kills the hunger. And that’s just the starter dose. Dr. Mike over at RP was saying his contest diet was easy.
That stuff has made me go hypog a few times. Not crossing the line hypo but close. Luckily (or unluckily) I’ve learned to recognize the symptoms… the hard way.
My personal hack is having a small portion of carbs no earlier than an hour before bed. That keeps me from waking up hypo and sleep eating. Usually ~15 grams
I’ve put on 5 since Saturday. Of course i started igf that day so I’m full of water I will be injury free come meet now will I be 308 that remains to be seen 315 this morning
You do have to watch out for going hypo though as @Poppy mentioned! I’ve had a few 40 readings on my glucose monitor. This stuff does not let my BG get above 60-70.
Stuff scares me, candidly. I mean, if I don’t eat every 2-3 hours, I’m going hypo as it is, especially after a shower. My wife regularly sees me sprint from the shower to fridge butt naked to gulp down some OJ and stop shaking. I can’t imagine what it would be like if I enhanced that!
