" In the United States, deoxycholic acid, under the trade name Kybella, is approved by the FDA for reducing fat below the chin When injected into submental fat, deoxycholic acid helps destroy fat cells. Kybella is produced by Kythera Biopharmaceuticals"
Anyone know if Deoxycholic acid has been used for other troublesome spots (e.g., love handles)? It has been linked to colon cancer, so caution on that. Is it pretty safe? Has anyone any firsthand experience with it? Does it really work?
I saw @Bigmurph posted a good piece on ursodiol ( Ursodeoxycholic acid) here. Is that the same compound? The molecular formula seems the same: C24H4004 but I am no chemistry major.
