Moon Face water rentention

While on TRT (200mg cypionate a week, 100mg X 2 (M,Th)) I get a bit of moon face, or water retention. It is especially noticeable in my face. I can literally feel pressure in my face.

When I take .5 mg of anastrozole, it helps.

Can i take an over the counter diuretic that may alleviate the bloat? If so, what is recommended. Thanks

That’s interesting. Dbol does that to me and larger doses of T… like over 500mg a week.

Maybe something else? A supreme pizza swells me up bad… can’t close my hands and big ole water head.

I don’t have any suggestions…sorry.

Like Pops said, check your diet 1st bad diets/not eating clean is usually this culprit once TRT is dialed in.

2nd you can also try increasing your frequency of injections (3–>5–>7) per week.

3rd reduce mgs per week and see if that helps especially if you are using an AI which we don’t want to do.

Yea, im thinking the sodium intake is a major issue at this point. Ill try to cut some of that out. Just took an otc diuretic just to see what it would do. But i will also stop loading up my eggs with salt. And my wife is pregnant so we have been eating out a ton since she doesnt want to cook and i cant (wont)… cook. When i came off of trt to try to have another child my face was chiseled. Now you could throw a rock at my face and my face would just absorb it. Ha.

We’ve got a mom n pop diner down the street we like going to occasionally (was every Friday) and they have old fashioned southern food… all very delicious and terrible for you. I’m always very swollen the next day.

Mid April. It was rough trying to conceive, took over a year and had to kick start my system with 3 months of clomid. I was lucky to get my numbers back up to tell yah the truth. That was a tough year.

Now i have to get this diet back in check. Great, right here at thanksgiving. Ha

I love babies. I probably only have one more grandkid in the future.

As stated. Probably diet. Look into adding telmisartan to your regimen. Estrogen alone doesn’t cause bloating, it’s the elevation of angiotensin II in the presence of estrogen. We want to keep estrogen high as it’s extremely cardio and Neuro protective.
