I generally prefer a conjugate type where the basic movements are changed every several weeks but then again I’m not training for anything specific and get very bored with gym stuff.
That’s how I’ve been feeling very bored in the gym … I box and that’s about the highlight of my workouts weekly outside of weight training . Just trying to mix it up , figured I’d ask on here .thanks my brother :muscle:t4:
I agree with @NeuroRN muscle confusion isn’t a thing, there’s a point of buildup where you gain momentum with an exercise and a point where it becomes stale and doesn’t produce as much stimulus. Then there’s novelty where a new exercise has a lot of stimulus and little fatigue. This occurs over months of the same exercise. Just fruit for thought.
