American flag is to the left top left of the stadium. Some are facing flag, others are facing forward where the WW2 vet was performing Anthem. You can see Mexican team facing forward as well. I get what you’re saying and I assumed it was true too given that this team had knelt before, but in this case just a viral tweet misinterpreted.
 
I agree. There’s a lot of microscopic viewing and interpretation going on because of the one woman. There is nothing I see here wrong. Well besides the few facing the WWII vet. Technically they should be facing the flag hand on heart but besides that. Nothing really going on here. But I could be wrong. Have been before.
