Protein Intake 1.6-2.4g/kg

Interesting, sounds simmilar to my story I just want size not so much PRs but I tan test, then test and Eq to gain size. I usually don’t have cheat meals, my carbs are clean and I’m pretty active so I’m not terribly concerned with glucose levels but I still monitor it. Thanks for the advice though it’s definitely fruit for thought.

That mcdonalds list wasn’t cheat…i ate like that twice a day with similar foods for a year. I ate regular stuff in between those meals.

My biggest was 2 strombolis and 2 slices of pepperoni pizza (takeout) in 20 minutes for lunch at work…middle of August on the shop floor with no ac… I didn’t get much done that afternoon.

I did but that was more towards a cut/recomp focus. I believe that anabolics should increase as food decreases. I keep it more mild in my massing phase. I ran tren up to 350 for 8 weeks with 500 test and 50 Anadrol at the end

I also typically shoot for 1g protein per pound regardless if on or off. I think keeping protein within this range may be even more beneficial when in a deficit to help minimize muscle loss when restricting calories. Depending on your overall calorie target, having a bit more isn’t going to hurt you unless you have some type of medical condition, though depending on the protein source (or just the amount) higher levels may result in some digestion issues. I find hitting 210-220g of protein isn’t that hard as I generally eat a lot of meats (fish, chicken, lean red meats, eggs (combination of egg whites and whole eggs). When on a deficit it is easier for me to keep myself in the deficit by adding in a lot of steamed vegetables and sometimes some rice/beans on the side to help satiety. A really large salad with shredded meat and a low calorie dressing is great for me to feel full for a long period of time. I currently started buying meat in bulk and found prices are essentially comparable to the cost at grocery stores, but the meat is definitely better quality than Kroger/Walmart). Here is my current spread from my recent monthly order (sorry if I shared this in another post…proud of my meat candy stash LOL)!

I stopped caring about getting enough protein in . It’s not possible to eat enough calories for bulking. My meals are more carb and fat focused.

Haha yep! I can basically eat (though that is arbitrary) how I want with a diet that works for me to put me at 10% or a bit slightly under. Hitting 5-9% has historically very difficult for me. When going that low, I am confident others can relate to this (especially competing bodybuilders) is EXTREMELY hard to do. Much respect to those pushing the limits!
