Alright got blood work done. Why they did not do
My testosterone I have no idea. I asked for it. Maybe they just didn’t post the results yet for it. I am
Pretty happy with most of it. My cholesterol has never ever been this good. My estrogen is fairly low for me and am taking 400 mg test cyp per week with very little Anastrozole take a 1 mg tablet once every two to three weeks if I start noticing myself getting a little more emotional then usual.

What’s your take on these @Poppy @NeuroRN

Most everything looks great.

Your blood glucose is creeping up. Not sure on exact cut off but you are definitely on the high side of normal, maybe borderline pre diabetes.

Your ck is off the charts… once again I’m pulling from memory. Major muscle damage/stress… heart attack maybe. Not exactly sure but worth looking at.

You might want to assess your diet for the glucose. I’m sure that’s high.

Or all that could be an anomaly… you get it checked in a month and it might all clear up. Remember it’s just a snapshot.

I get labs anywhere from 4-8 x a year and @Neuro has had to talk me off the edge a couple times because something spiked on that ONE test…only to clear up next time…like he said it would.

Not sure about the CK thing. My shoulder has been damaged pretty good from the benching injury 7 ish weeks ago. Been slowly able to do more and more with it as far as working out goes. And as far as muscle stress am definitely pushing it hard in the gym. Not with heavy weights but a lot of drop sets and to failure stuff. Usually a workout takes me an hour and half to two hours. Would that cause the CK to go up?

That I don’t know. I was under the impression that it was from traumatic muscle events. Again I might be wrong.

Getting out of my wheelhouse.

According to this muscle damage (shoulder) and muscle inflammation (hitting hard in gym) can cause this. Further tests may be ordered to better understand why. Creatine and BUN which both are good. It’ll be interesting what the Doc says about it.

Bloods can get complicated. One single thing standing alone may or may not mean anything but several markers together very well could mean something serious.

Stay on top of it for sure.

Appreciate it. Definitely gonna stay on top of it and figure it out. Maybe in a month I’ll do a deload week and at end of week check it again. See if my strenuous workouts are the culprit. And of course whatever the doc says to do and try.

Am so shocked how good my cholesterol is. Never been this good ever. Big thanks to @PHD and his girl for all their nutritional expertise. It’s always been over 200 ever since I can remember

You need to call whatever lab company this is and determine if they is a CK or a CKMB test. They put cardiac enzyme in parentheses. Which If that’s you ckmb, true cardiac CK, you’re in trouble. Heart attack trouble.

If that’s simply a CK Aand this lab company sucks? Total CK is more manipulative.

Either way. That’s a big fuck up on whatever lab company this is. Enough for me to make sure not to use them every again.

@Rusty

Please don’t fiddle with this. Get to the bottom of this asap.

Cardiac anything is not to be trifled with.

Out of ignorance…is that the enzyme that will show if you’ve had a heart attack?

Edit: I just looked it up.

What does a high CK-MB mean?

If you have higher than normal CK-MB enzymes, it may mean you have an inflammation of the heart muscle or are having or recently had a heart attack. If you have higher than normal CK-BB enzymes, it may mean you have had a stroke or brain injury.

Was this fasted? That sugar meets diabetic criteria if this is a fasted glucose. Also not something fuck around with.

If that’s fasted, time for some metformin. ASAP.

It’s not fasted they told me they don’t do fasted anymore. This is an Aurora extension. So I had been eating. I was thinking metformin when I saw it anyways regardless of fasted or not. I left a message with the nurses about the CK results just waiting for them to get back to me. Hope they do today. I cannot find anywhere on MyChart what kind of CK results they are.
