Thanks for having me everyone

whats up yall… I started this whole healthy lifestyle around 245-250lbs. I never really got into the whole weights thing growing up. I hit college and stopped playing sports and the weight kept adding up. My eating habits were horrendous. About 2 plus years ago now I started dedicating myself to getting skinny… what I thought would get me there was a calorie deficit and a ton of cardio. I slowly started to add in weights and learned a ton by watching videos and doing research. Now I have got my nutrition in check and my lifting with proper techniques. I have been at it for awhile now and have just been introduced to looking into different gear to look into. Me being the person I am I like to take my time and digest a ton of information before I just jump on something. So i have been looking into winstrol (the gear they suggested) and just thought I would try and learn more about this whole realm on this forum.

Thanks for having me,
Cobra

Thanks for a proper intro and welcome to the board. So you’re considering winstrol. No mention of test so I’m assuming you were considering running winstrol without anything else. Winstrol is definitely suppressive to your natural testosterone. Without adding in exogenous testosterone your LH (leutinizing hormone) and FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) will also decline and begin to have negative effects on your reproductive system. With that, your natural levels will begin to decline. Recovery will be a bumpy road without the test as even a small pct will likely take time to jumpstart your LH and FSH again which is what signals the body to begin to produce testosterone again. I warned a friend of mine of all of this, someone I know personally, that just wanted to try winstrol. He spent 3 months after the fact dealing with fluctuating hormones and overall feeling like crap. 90% of what he was trying to achieve was gone in that timeframe.

This is why I advocate for 1. Nutrition… not just a diet but a nutrition guided lifestyle specific to your goals. 2. Fitness… learning how to workout for your specific goals. 3. Testosterone only cycles for beginners.

How old are you and have you ever had bloodwork showing your hormone levels?

Welcome aboard brother! You mention “they” recommend Winny. Who is “they”? Like berserker mentioned your gonna suppress you natural test production which will lead to many more problems ahead. I would recommend starting with a test only cycle to begin with, that is if your diet and training is in check. Wintsrol is a great prep compound but I believe that going to be more down the road for you brother. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask, you can always post up or shoot a PM, this community is more than happy to help you achieve your goals in a safe and productive manner.

Oh hey buddy, welcome…this place is a plethora of information, no wrong questions here, and is the first and probably last forum I join, thank you for the proper intro, good intros make all the difference in the world here.

thank you so much for your input…

so with the LH and FSH would i take certain pills to help keep them at normal levels or how does that work? If so where/what do you find them?

When you say test are you meaning like take blood tests to see or are you meaning do a trial cycle on the winstrol? If you mean blood tests where do you suggest I do this at?

As far as the nutrition and fitness i am learned a-lot along the way in my journey… a-lot of trial and error and experimenting what works best for me… but I had no idea what I was doing in the beginning… thats another reason why I wanted to just have discussions like this to just talk with real people about real circumstances and not just youtube videos and fake stories.

also i am not into needles whatsoever so if… and thats a big if… of doing any kind of gear it would forsure be oral…

thanks for all your help i really appreciate it.

thank you for the response… they is referring to one of my partners who was telling me about when he did it… i told him some of my goals and aspirations in life and what my eating habits and fitness style was and he told me about winstrol… i had never looked into this kind of stuff before but it struck my attention so here I am trying to learn.

when you mean test cycle only… what are you reffering too?

thanks for the help again!

Testosterone injections. Either TRT or self administration. A cycle. Surf around on the different subject on here and get to understand the types. And programs. I would highly recommend that you get a great training program set up and see what you can do naturally first. Can you tell me how old you are?

i would like to stay away from injections if possible… and 23… at the moment i do a push pull legs style training… push strength, pull strength, legs strength, then higher reps lower weight in the same order… i am extremely open to help in just my training in general as well…

the reason i think i was hitting a plateau was because i was not consuming enough calories and my muscle was also deteriorating… sense then i have upped my calorie intake and still in a minor caloric deficit… i am following what Jeff Cavaliere discusses of building muscle and losing fat on a long term slower basis of higher protein on a caloric deficit…

i would say im around 13-15 percent body fat and am just really wanting to lose the extra lower belly fat and have been trying for months now… just feel like i have stalled and during this time i have been the most consistent i have ever been and see little to no results… i guess this is why i even brought up the thought of looking into winny

thanks again for your help.

When I mention test only cycle I mean testosterone cycle. Your still young and you should really think about this. It’s more or less a lifestyle change brotha. Check this out and it will really go in depth on Winstrol and why exogenous testosterone should be implemented.

At 23 you’re still at peak natural test to grow. The more you gain naturally the more you can keep in the long run. I’d look at your diet and get some advice from a trainer. There’s a couple guys on here that are trainers and can help you with your plan. To be honest, you should spend your money on that first not AAS. I paid for a trainer and wasn’t introduced to AAS for almost 2 years before I was even steered into AAS. And that was a test E cycle. And only 500mg a week. Those were the greatest gains I ever got. EVER. So. I’m not trying to steer you away. But I am giving you great advice. You can ask PHD or MURPH or others that offer training programs for a fee on here that will help you TRAIN AND DIET first. Get those natural gains you have in you. And belly fat? One word. Run. 3 miles a day every other day. I promise you that a proper diet, training and running in 3 months you won’t have any belly. 😁 Like I said. Not being preachy but if you want to be in your 50s and still slinging iron, need to really look into a trainer. 😁

One more thing. Paying for training will actually save you money. How? You can drop 250 bucks on gear and lose that a month after you come off. Or spend 3 months with a trainer and keep the natural gains THEN talk about a beginner cycle. If you go down that path, get use o the idea of a needle. No trainer will EVER recommend a oral cycle only…

I really have to strongly agree with @TBU on this brother. Our community here looks out for each other and he is giving you some very sound advice. We would never tell you that you can’t do something and if you decided to go this route, we might disagree but we would still help you. At your age, you are in peak testosterone levels and introducing compounds that absolutley will suppress that natural testosterone isn’t the best idea. Focusing on nutrition and higher intensity cardio sessions will burn that extra little body fat you’re trying to burn. There is a plethora of information on the board that you can research and you can get help with your nutrition from myself and some others for free but if you really want a thought out plan that is designed specifically for you with your goals in mind, I suggest reaching out to @PHD and seeing what he can do for you. I am a trainer myself but I have even hired him recently to take me to the next level. We all need some help and fail to achieve with something on our paths to our goals. I just hope we can help you get there without the use of AAS at your age.

Thanks guys. Welcome to the board bro. I’ll be honest at 23 you shouldn’t even worry about gear. Get a good firm foundation then in few years visit that topic. My best friend told me to think long and hard because once you start you will never stop. I waited another 2 years to start and I
Let him help me.
