This Virus And Your Life.....What Has Changed For You?

I’ll start.

Nothing has really changed for me except instead of eating inside…I’m taking out. Ammunition has been a little harder to get…such is life.

Gym is still open

Job is still fine

I do wonder about how things will be if this shutdown lasts for an extended period of time. People who are struggling for food and those who are financially struggling will start getting desperate. Desperation equals people with no hope…people with no hope make bad decisions…hence increased crime…no fear…Sig Sauer is here.

No Gym. No Eating out. No Ammo. Working from home. TP is still hit or miss. Eggs now are becoming hit or miss. What pisses me off is the huge surge in weapons purchases here in my AO. And a majority are liberal dickheads that consider me a “gun nut”. 😂

Well, first off my work has been affected, I’ve now had two weekend shutdowns be put on hold until after the “covid-19 pandemic” and the future of work is uncertain, with upcoming jobs on the horizon staying on the horizon… my gym, which is still allowing certain assholes to work out, informed all its members via email the other day we would still be being charged for the month of April even though they’re closed mandatory by the state and we’re being reimbursed by being enrolled in their fucking jelly of the month equivalent called the supplement club… sorry, I don’t take supplements, so this means nothing to me… luckily though, I live in Iowa and our stubborn stupid bitch governor refuses to implement “shelter in place” or “stay home”, so at least I still get to go do shit even though everything is closed

For my wife she is working from home while doing the school work with the kid, she is a bit stressed and over worked, and unfortunately I am not a lot of help, I am still working, so I’m gone all day. Our weekends haven’t changed, still going hiking and fishing, things of that nature… I didn’t buy anymore ammo, just did a visual inspection of all weapons, and there whereabouts in the house, which isn’t out of the ordinary either.

I will add work has become busier cause people have more time to come in and get lumber for projects

I’m at Home Depot and Lowe’s a lot and they aren’t quite as busy as normal, but there not empty either

I work in the lowes lumber yard only thing open in town other grocery’s son it’s crazy. Especially since we changed hours

Ha ha @Sig516 is that how I came off? Hmm my wife seems to think I “ underreact” sometimes, the way I figure is I haven’t encountered anything yet in normal life, that compared to some of my military experiences, so there’s that.

The two main things that have changed for myself are the gyms closing and restaurants doing takeout only. I’m a supervisor over a tree trimming crew. My company let me eat on the company card. I loved being able to go in, sit down, and eat a big huge meal from Texas Roadhouse, The Outback, or Cracker Barrel. I’m doing a lot more meal prepping now. The hardest part for me is my gym being closed. I worked out at home for a while. I ended up getting rid of all the equipment I had accumulated seeing as it was just taking up space. Then this happens. Luckily I was finished up with my first cycle and finished PCT yesterday.

Also, the University of Iowa is still making me pay tuition for my 21 year old daughter that’s enrolled there, even though she’s seemingly done for the year, and my 13 year old daughter is seemingly done with 6th grade… so now my house has returned to a jail cell in the midst of menstrual cycles… it’s terrible, I love my wife and daughters but there isn’t enough AI in the world to knock down the estrogen produced by a 21 year old and a 13 year old, and there’s no gym to escape to…

Here you go @Ldog more of my hunting bullshit, which means life is normal
