Over the years as I age it has become clear that I can’t carry too much (extra) weight. Trimming down a bit has been good for my overall health markers.

I said that to say this… I also do NOT want to become that skinny old guy either. I’m not judging anyone’s goals. There’s plenty of ripped up old guys out there but in my opinion there’s some that are just plane skinny.

I’m making every effort to maintain some sort of muscle mass. My goal of having abs also comes with a caveat of not dipping below 200lbs bw.

I would like to get some of my body weight back… maybe 5 more pounds…that would put me right at 210. That would also mean losing a few more pounds of bf…maybe 5.

I have a couple of particulars to sort out. How far I can up my (good) carbs while keeping my a1c under control. I am also studying up on tbol… that’ll very well be my next compound.

I dont want to be the skinny old dude either and I could always use some work on my diet,I usually can hover around 195-200,and I’ve come to accept that,I been fighting my body composition for years now, fast metabolism, and hereditary are 24/7 against me,and I feel as if I’m just not into it like most other guys here,my extra time is usually spent huntin, hiking and fishin, that is more important to me then lifting.Dont get it twisted though,I still want people to see me as someone you dont want to fuck with, even before they see my USMC tattoo.

You got to have a well rounded life brother. There’s some folks that make a living bodybuilding or powerlifting and such…those folks need to eat sleep and drink this stuff. Us regular folks not so much.

Just my 2c

Awesome brother youre holding it down putting in work i love it! TBol is great. I really liked it it was pretty suttle then Round week two i really tightened up and strength increased. One thing i will say inwas only running it between 20-30mg a day, never had high BP but went to a standard physical and nurses were concerned it was 160/80. Seems others tolerate it really well but for me both Tbol and Dbol seem to spike my BP

Yes, it can be a balancing act, especially the longer you’re in this game. The literature is quite clear on the fact that carrying around a higher body weight (even when it’s muscle) is rough on the body regardless of body composition. So long as you’re not trying to be a shredded mass monster, health will only improve at relatively lower body fat levels (to a point).

Sounds like you’re making a good decision to better your health while still doing what you’re passionate about.

I got on a health kick primarily because I want to get a just start and not be trying to do it when I 50 or 60. My dad never took proper care of himself and now he’s all kinds of fucked up at 72, not much quality of life. I want as much quality and mobility in those years as possible so I’m starting now. That and I like to look like I can snap necks with minimal effort. Of course.

You’re doing right in my opinion. I’ve been burying friends and acquaintances wholesale the last 5 years or so. Other than the young ones that cancer took… most fell victim to very poor lifestyle decisions. Abuse of drugs and alcohol… horrendous diets and of course chain smoking.

IMHO with all the data thats out there now, there’s no reason to prematurely age.

I was a hyper responder to dbol. 30 years ago when I was taking it on a regular basis… my head blew up hahaha i had the biggest moon face. I throttled back to just pwo and still retained way too much fluid.

We’ll see if tbol treats me any better.

Yeah I got sober across the board in February 2014 and even quit smoking 3 years ago. And even the heavier AAS use is going to get the boot when I turn 40, 36 now. I plan to still run test just the health benefits and maybe do a cycle every other year at that point. And I hate to admit it but I think I’m going to have to add yoga into my routine in the near future if I want to keep my mobility and improve it. Just had my first child on Thanksgiving so I need to be in pretty good shape in the coming years. She’ll hit high school when I hit 50 and need to be able to properly intimidate shitbag teenagers dammit.

Hahaha I hear ya.

My daughters dragged home some absolute losers, some of which were rejected/ejected with extreme prejudice… by me.

To this day some of these local boys make a wide path around me. Hahaha

Hahaha

You gotta be there for your little girl. You got to be the one she compares everyone else to.

Both of mine have finally found good men. Bout freakn time. I couldn’t be happier.

Nothing wrong with yoga. Stay limber. I did NOT and in my 40’s had the mobility of a cinder block. I could squat and bench a bunch but that was it.
