Whey protein... to choose?

What kind of whey protein do you use? Do you prefer one over the others available or mixed? I’ve been reading some articles about the pros and cons of each one and as always sometimes I read to far into things and it’ll just get confusing!
 
Typically I like a whey isolate (no carbs no sugars ). There are way to many brands out there to say what’s better than another. True nutrition has amazing products and great prices. I use them sometimes or I order from Dynamic evolution.
 
I know there are way to many brands out there and it seems like they all use the same thing just change the label!

Hydrolyzed whey Isolate or standard whey isolate. I use to be loyal to specific brands but not anymore. I shop around when I need some. I couldn’t tell you if one is better than they other. I regularly find ON Platinum Hydrowhey on sale on the River with free shipping with my Prime membership. Warehouse club stores like Costco or Sams Club are others sources to get better pricing than retail also. Knowing how to read the label is the best way to find a good protein powder.

HOW TO SPOT PROTEIN SPIKING
So how do you know how much of a protein powder that has added amino acids is true protein and how much is just amino acids? You’ll NEVER know. That’s why supplement companies only list the amount of total “protein” on the label and not the amount of each type of protein and each type of amino acid added. But there are certainly some red flags to help you determine if your protein powder has been spiked.

If your favorite protein powder has taurine and glycine listed in the ingredients list, you’re better off throwing it out. That brand is simply lying to you about how little protein is actually in that protein powder.
