I agree with my Comrades, I’ve done it before to and no problems and I wouldn’t throw the gear out unless I knew I compromised it in some way. I just wouldn’t make a habit out of it lol

I use a spray bottle, I spray the injection site and stopper. Just my technique and it’s worked great for me over the years.
