Ingredients
- 1kg Ground Beef (lean as possible) Aprox 2,000 calories
- 1 link Chicken Sausage - Aprox 375 calories
- 1 packet 25g of chili con carne spice mix - Aprox 72 calories (3g fat - 3.25g carbs - 3.5g protein)
- 1 can 400g redbeans - Aprox 444 calories
- 3 slices sandwich cheese (toast or cheddar) - Aprox 92 calories
- 1 packet rice (optional)
- chopped jalapenos (optional)
- 1 small can of corn (drained) (optional)
Instructions
In a pot add in the ground beef.
Mix it and cook until brown on medium to high heat.
Drain all the fat from the pot when finished. Use a strainer to hold the ground beef and rinse until the fat is visibly removed.
Rinse the remaining fat from the pot. Return the browned beef to the pot.
Add in the cut chicken sausage.
Add in the full can of beans to the pot. Including the liquid.
Add in the full packet of spices and mix around. Top with 3 slices of cheese. Cook the mixture for 5-7 minutes at medium heat until cheese is fully melted, then go to low heat for 20 mins.
Notes
This recipe can vary with your goals. You can use this to make a large enough pot for all daily meals thru the day. You can add options like rice for extra carbs, 2 cans of beans for more protein and carbs. If you're dieting remove the corn and make as is. If you are bulking then add more beef and rice for carbs. You can make this in a pot and keep it for an easy prep into containers thru the day and calculate your macros as needed. Once your done with pot, you know you completed your macros for the day.
