A Great Mini Series

We just finished watching “Queens Gambit”. It’s a limited series on Netflix (I think).

I was hesitant at first…a movie about chess…of all things. How good can that be? But it ended up being an excellent watch.

It had a great storyline and wasn’t a gazillion seasons long.

Highly recommended for those that are tired of crappy cookie cutter shows…”ex special forces goes on rampage to right some sort of wrong” etc etc etc.

And yes…they did end up making a chess movie very interesting.

Yeah same here. Wifey suggested it and the first thing I thought was chick flick but it was actually good.

My wife watched this… then she got on a kick where she wanted to play chess all the time, but little did she know that’s one of the things my dad used to torture me with when I was a kid, playing chess trying to expand my brain power… it didn’t work, but I smoked her ass a dozen times and now she hates chess… haha
